IEEE Day Celebration : One-Day National Level Workshop on Deep Learning Models for Image Processing
A one-day national-level workshop titled "Deep Learning Models for Image Processing" was conducted on October 9, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Karpagam College of Engineering. The workshop was led by Dr. G. Saravanakumar, a professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The session aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of how deep learning models can be applied to solve complex image processing problems.
Participants were introduced to key concepts of deep learning, neural networks, and their practical implementation in image recognition, classification, and enhancement tasks. The workshop included hands-on training sessions where attendees worked with real-world datasets to develop and test their own models.
