IEEE DAY: Bringing IEEE to the University
To celebrate IEEE DAY, the IEEE UFRN Student Branch organised the promotion of IEEE in different areas of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. With coffee, giveaways and flags, volunteers have been touring the university to attract bright new minds to the Institute.
The outreach is aimed at attracting students from other engineering and exact science courses such as: textile engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, meteorology, petroleum chemistry, geology, information technology and actuarial science.
We believe that the world's problems can only be solved by thinking in an inclusive, interdisciplinary, and diverse way. By promoting the IEEE during the IEEE celebrations, the Student Branch aligns itself with the Institute's expectations and publicizes how we can use technology to benefit humanity.
