IEEE DAY Celebration 2024 - Day 2: Visions Of Bapu Ji Competition (Poetry Writing Competition)
This event of IEEE DAY Celebration 2024 is organized by IEEE BBDITM in Collaboration with the cultural society of the college Karmavesh. In the The Poetry competition added a literary dimension to the event. Participants recited original poems that reflected on Gandhi’s life, philosophy, and his influence on the world. Some poems were in free verse, while others followed traditional rhyme schemes. The poems touched on themes like non-violence (Ahimsa), truth (Satyagraha), and the power of one person to bring about change. Many participants used powerful metaphors and vivid imagery to portray Gandhi’s impact on India and the world. The poetry recitation was filled with emotions, with participants pouring their hearts into their performances, evoking applause and praise from the audience. Judges evaluated the poems based on their literary quality, emotional depth, and connection to Gandhian values. Some poems emphasized Gandhi’s role as a symbol of hope and resilience, while others focused on how his teachings could guide us in solving contemporary issues such as climate change, inequality, and political unrest.
