The Web Development and Career Guidance event, organized by IEEE SB RIT as part of IEEE Day, provided a comprehensive introduction to web development. The event aimed to introduce 9th-grade students of Sacred Heart High School, Pangada to the world of web development and offer insights into potential tech careers. The event began with a theoretical overview, highlighting the significance of web development in today's digital landscape. Students gained a clear understanding of the fundamental concepts and technologies involved in building websites. The practical segment of the event was a highlight, where students actively engaged in coding exercises using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Under the guidance of Ellen Rose James, students created their basic web pages, fostering a hands-on learning experience.
