Greece; Loukoumades
Upon the advice of our neighbor, my son and I were in Greek Festival in Portland last month during my wife traveled in Japan. We ate some yummy food. My best of the year for Greek Festival is Loukoumades. Loukoumades(loo-koo-MAH-thes) are famous Greek pastirs made of deep fried dough soaked in honey or syrup and cinnamon. These sweet fritters are deep fried till golden brown and served warm with honey. Some people also call them greek honey tokens or greek honey fritters. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!
