The dimensions of the Nanomorph Zoom series lenses are approximately 84.8 x 188.5 mm, and they weigh only about 1,500g. They are lightweight and compact front anamorphic zoom lenses for Super 35. They are highly mobile and can be effectively used in a variety of shooting scenes, such as on car rigs, stabilizers, and shoulder rigs. Due to their compact size, they can be carried in a hard case. The series also covers a wide focal range of 28-100mm.
The Nanomorph Zoom series offers a total zoom range of approximately 3.6x with two lenses, 28-55mm and 50-100mm. Its versatility means it can be used in a variety of shooting situations, eliminating the need to change lenses frequently. This zoom range allows you to achieve zoom effects such as crash zoom, dolly zoom, and slow zoom while maintaining the quality of the anamorphic image. In addition, the unique anamorphic lens design allows the Nanomorph Zoom series to achieve a 1.5x squeeze ratio throughout the entire zoom range.
The Nanomorph Zoom series shoots T2.9 aperture throughout the entire zoom range, and has excellent light gathering power to ensure optimal exposure even under difficult lighting conditions. It is said that it can capture extremely clear and detailed anamorphic images while freely controlling the depth of field. In addition, it exhibits excellent optical performance without unpleasant fringes even at the maximum aperture of T2.9.
Focusing while Zooming
A key feature of the two lenses in the Nanomorph Zoom series is that the focus position is perfectly maintained while zooming, allowing you to focus accurately at the telephoto end with a shallow depth of field, and then zoom back to a shorter focal length to effectively compose your image.
Additionally, the Nanomorph Zoom comes with three cinematic flare options: Amber, Blue, and Silver. The blue flare is perfect for creating a sci-fi or vintage feel. Amber and Silver offer a warmer and more neutral flare, respectively. The Silver flare is a popular artistic choice with filmmakers, as it allows you to adjust the flare color depending on the color of the light source.
The Nanomorph Zoom produces more beautiful bokeh effects than 1.33x anamorphic lenses, and the focus roll-off is more organic, creating the cinematic look that filmmakers have been hoping for for years.
The LAOWA Nanomorph Zoom allows you to shoot at close range, easily capturing sharp images and close-up shots. Combined with the large T2.9 aperture, it allows you to achieve a shallow depth of field and accentuate the organic oval bokeh.

It is compatible with the Arri PL mount by default, but can also be used with mirrorless camera mounts by purchasing an optional replacement bayonet for Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, and L mounts.
