Abstract

In this paper, we construct a reversible data hiding scheme for JPEG images generated from the modified quantization table proposed previously by Chang et al. in Information Sciences, 2002. Previously, the known data hiding scheme for this class of JPEG images is the high-capacity scheme proposed by Chang et al. However, their scheme is irreversible. We propose a reversible version for this class of JPEG images. Experimental results show that our proposed scheme outperforms other schemes on embedding capacity and stego-image quality for most test images.
