The original version of this article unfortunately contained several mistakes.
The first sentence of the abstract section ‘Results’ contained incorrect values and should have read ‘A total of 85 patients were enrolled, with mean (SD) age of 79.8 (7.4) and 54.1% female, 41 in the intervention group and 44 in the control group. HGS was similar at 3 months with mean change of 0.78 kg (95% CI − 2.52 to 3.36, p = 0.42).’
In section ‘Results’, paragraph ‘Changes in hand grip strength’, the first sentence contained incorrect values and should have read ‘There was no significant difference between the intervention and the control group at the 3 months follow-up for the primary outcome HGS (0.78 kg, 95% CI −2.52 to 3.36 , p = 0.42) (Table 4).’
Figure 1 contained some incorrect values; the corrected Fig. 1 is given below.
