Abstract
Soil venting is a much applied remediation technique in pollution cases with volatile organics in the unsaturated soil zone. In the design of remediation measures a numerical model of air flow in the unsaturated zone is a useful tool. The computer model AIR is presented which allows user friendly data input and instant inspection of results. In two applications the options of the model are illustrated.
