Abstract
Emotions are an essential part of the functioning of a person needed for him to adapt to the environment and its changing conditions. Because of significant deficits in certain aspects of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), it is necessary the development of new methodologies in order to treat the symptoms with software systems. In this article we present a proposal of a methodology for the development of software applications used for the teaching and recognition of emotions to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
