Abstract

A preliminary analysis to the individual student process (ISP) allowed to detect difficulties and delays in its access far beyond the desirable. It was also noted that not always the interested parties had access to the information required. This, obviously, was one of the reasons that motivated the investigation related to student’s academic registration process course throughout compulsory education, in Portuguese and foreign schools. The idea, here presented and discussed — automation of Individual Student Process accessible through cloud computing — has clearly become essential to ease the consultation of this registry, simplifying the information circulation among all participants (schools, students, parents, teachers and institutions) simultaneously reducing bureaucracy in educational transitions inside and outside Portugal.
