Abstract

This paper examines for the first time in Bulgaria the use and popularity of some technological solutions and applications for orientation and mobility purposes among five special organizations for visually impaired in three different cities and 41 direct participants – students, clients or members of the same five organizations. The paper attempts to offer an overview of the participants’ knowledge and direct use of technological devices and applications in Bulgaria.
