Abstract
In the 21st century of rapid technological iteration, technical talents capable of innovative design have become the need of the hour. With the continuous improvement of China's social productivity level, technical education has gradually become an important part of quality education. High school general technology is a basic course for cultivating students' innovative design ability, and for high school education, it is necessary to start from changing students' thinking mode. Design thinking, as a way of thinking and methodology to promote innovative design, is used in the high school general technology classroom, relying on project teaching, which is conducive to the development of problem-based and real-world teaching. Based on Stanford University's “EDIFT” model for instructional design, two rounds of teaching practice were conducted through the action research method to verify the effectiveness of learning. The conclusion of the study hypothesizes that high school general technology project-based learning based on design thinking is conducive to increasing learners' interest in learning, fostering learners' empathy and creativity, cultivating learners' disciplinary core literacy, transforming learners' problem-solving styles, and promoting learners' collaborative learning.
