Abstract
As a complex visual equipment worn on the pilot's head, HMD was a typical human-computer interaction equipment. Its ergonomic design had great impact on the safety and efficiency of personnel. Therefore, it was very important to carry out ergonomic evaluation of HMD. We proposed a comparative evaluation method of HMD ergonomics. By using Vienna Test System, pressure sensor and temperature sensor, the experiment collected the task performance, pressure measurement and temperature measurement data of personnel wearing HMD. Then the ergonomics of the two types of HMD were compared by statistical analysis. The method proposed in this study was beneficial to ergonomics evaluation of HMDs, and the data analysis results could provide references for HMD design and evaluation.
