Abstract
This study aims to determine the Indonesian government's communication strategy in preventing acts violence against women and children. Social media is an important part of providing education through communication of preventive measures and assistance. This study uses QDAS (Qualitative Data Analysis Software) approach using the data source of the Twitter @kpp_pa (KPPA) social media account. The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection is an Indonesian government agency that has the authority to handle the empowerment and protection of women and children. Data analysis of this research uses software retrieve data, collect data, and analyze it with a focus on content analysis in communication strategies. The results of the study show social media is part of the Indonesian government's strategy in preventing violence against women and children. KPPA's social media activities in producing information aim to provide education and understanding regarding the protection of women and children. KPPA's communication strategy is carried out through the use of hashtags in each content grouped based on different content related to education and information. The results of the word cloud analysis show that the information conveyed can be distinguished based on the content that educates, informs, entertains, and influences. In addition, the use of these hashtags can be distinguished based on target assisting women or children. Delivery of information on educational messages to women through the use of #Empowered Women, #Advanced Indonesian Women, and #RememberMessenger Ibu. Information.analysis Word frequency show that KPPA in carrying out approach to preventing violence and protecting women, the focus is on communication focused on education and fighting for women's rights. Content to overcome child violence using #AnakTerlindung, #Stop Child Marriage, #AnakTerlindungiIndonesiaMaju. Overall, hashtag communication strategy is an important part in creating a movement to protect children's safety and security, in addition to campaign activities not to marry underage.
