The Lake Cowichan KRAKEN play in the Northern Division of the 11 team Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League.

Divisional opponents include: Campbell River Storm, Comox Valley Glaceir Kings, Nanaimo Buccaneers, Oceanside Generals and the Port Alberni Bombers. The Southern Division is comprised of the Kerry Park Islanders, Saanich Braves, Victoria Cougars and the Westshore Wolves.  The KRAKEN Junior Hockey Club plays out of the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena which is located at 311 South Shore Road in Lake Cowichan, BC:
