La Playa Hotel Review

Area attractions, including Carmel Beach Boardwalk and Sunset Center are located only a short walk from La Playa Carmel Hotel. WiFi is available throughout the venue as well as a free car park, an outdoor swimming pool and a golf course are available on site.

A gourmet breakfast is included and served in the restaurant each morning. The lounge bar features a spacious terrace and a lounge. The property is located about 450 metres from Bernardo's and La Bicyclette serving a wide selection of dishes.

The accommodation is 1.5 km from Devendorf City Park, while Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is 3.8 km away. The centre of Carmel-by-the-Sea is about a 10-minute walk away.

Guests can find a unique beach near the hotel. You can get to the circa-1771 church "Carmel Mission Basilica Museum" in a few minutes by car.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk into the city. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a small pool and well-maintained grounds. The breakfast offered a range of delicious options, including champagne and fresh fruits. The staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming, offering us Sangria upon arrival and providing turn-down service every night. The hotel also had complimentary wine tastings in the evenings and served warm cookies and milk later on. we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cleanliness, parking, transportation, and being close to the beach.

Can't fault anything about it.

The hotel had well-kept and clean grounds, with a beautiful courtyard. Its location was perfect, just a couple of blocks from the beach, with great views from the shutters and windows that opened. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was friendly.

Nothing negative to say.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The shuttle service in the evenings was an unexpected added bonus, allowing us to enjoy dinner and drinks in town without worrying about driving. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a self-serve spread that included made-to-order omelettes and delicious waffles. The location of the hotel was perfect, being close to both the beach and the town center for shopping and dining. We enjoyed walking along the beach path, taking in the beautiful scenery.

We loved the location, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants in this city. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a fantastic bar and a beautiful garden. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional customer service. They even offered complimentary shuttle service for dinner. Plus, the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

No omelets and waffles on the first day for breakfast. We would have preferred two smaller chairs in our room for enjoying the view.
