    2. not as full feature as the VI Client
    3. used to manage an individual server only.
    4. A great place to download the VI client

Vitual Insfrastructure (VI) client
    1. A full GUI client for vmware esx and virtual center
    2. Required to be used for esx server management
    3.the most full featured esx management option
    4. runs only on a windows system
    5. can point to an individual esx server to (VC) -same client.

   2. must install a SSH client -such as secure CRT or Putty
   3. must know how to navigation linux OS
Alt-F1 if on the console
   1 Alt-F1 to Alt-F6 actually takes you to the console
   2. Alt-F11 to return
   3. Alt-F12 vkernel debug

  . download from web interface
  . install & take the defaults
  . login to VC server or esx server with IP or DNS name
   . who can login?
       1. local admin group members if VC server is not on a DC(domain control)
       2. Domain Admin group is VC server is a DC
       3. name is domain\user or host\user
