Mr. Mohamad Azad Zaki Haji Mohd Tahir, President of Brunei Cyber Security Association (BCSA)

Have been working in the IT and information security industry for about 20 years. Works in IT Protective Security Services (ITPSS) and Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Responsible for developing an information security program based on the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards. Specializing in establishing organizational framework, policies, procedures and implementation of security controls as part of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). I am the President for the Brunei Cybersecurity Association (BCSA) responsible for overseeing the establishment of the association and its constitution since November 2022.

Mr. Phannarith Ou, Chairman of ISAC Cambodia

Mr. Phannarits Ou is Chairman of ISAC Cambodia. Mr. Ou Phannarith is the Director of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Security of Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) of Cambodia. He is the former Head of the National Cambodia Computer Emergency Response Team (CamCERT). He has been involved in the development of Cybersecurity, ICTs, and related regulations in Cambodia for the last 15 years. Mr. OU has been the Professor at Royal University of Law and Economic (RULE) and Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) specializing in Cybersecurity, the senior research fellow at the Center for Inclusive Digital Economy, Asian Vision Institution (AVI) and Senior advisor to Cambodia Digital Tech Association (CDTA).

Dr. Rudi Lumanto, Founder and Advisor, Indonesia Network Security Association (idNSA)

Rudi Lumanto is the former Chairman of Id-SIRTII/CC, the national CSIRT of Indonesia, from 2011 to March 2020. He has worked for the Agency for the Application and Assessment of Technology (BPPT), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology then for the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) since 1988 to March 2020. He founded IdNSA (Indonesia Network Security Association) in 2011. Currently he is an advisor to IdNSA and also a Lecturer at the Postgraduate School of Information Security, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. He was a Judge for the OIC-CERT Global Cybersecurity Award and an awardee of ITU AJ award in 2020. Rudi Lumanto holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering and PhD degree from Japan.

Dr. Hiroshi Esaki, Chairman of Japan Network Security Association (JNSA)

He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985 and 1987, respectively. And, he received Ph.D from University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1998.
In 1987, he joined Research and Development Center, Toshiba Corporation. From 1990 to 1991, he has been at Applied Research Laboratory of Bellcore Inc., New Jersey (USA). From 1994 to 1996, he has been at CTR (Center for Telecommunication Research) of Columbia University in New York (USA). During his staying at Columbia University, he has proposed the CSR architecture, that is the origin of MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching), to the IETF and to the ATM Forum.
He is an executive director of IPv6 promotion council, a chair of JPNIC (Japan Network Information Center). From 2007 to 2010 and 2014 to 2020, he served as BoT(Board of Trustee) for ISOC (Internet Society). He is a director of WIDE Project, director of Japan Data Center Coucil, director of Green University of Tokyo Project, and Senior Expert of Digital Agency Japan.

Angel S. Averia, jr. has been in the cybersecurity field for more than two decades.He is the current President of the Philippine Computer Emergency Response Team, Chairman of the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections, and a member of the Advisory Group of the Philippine National Police Anti-cybercrime Group and various ICT organizations. He has worked with local and international bodies on several projects like the drafting of the Rules on Electronic Evidence with the Philippine Supreme Court, the Education for Justice University Modules Project of the United Nations Office on Drugs, and Crime and the Council of Europe’s Global Action on Cybercrime Project, among others.

Mr. Johnny Kho, President of Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP)

The current President of AiSP with over 20 years of IT and Cyber Security experience. He leads the Managed Security Services Team at Singtel Cyber Security Division. Johnny actively contributes to the local IT Security community through interest groups and holds volunteer positions in AiSP and SCS IS Chapter. He initiated the Cyber Awareness and Advisory Program (CAAP) in collaboration with CSA to support SME Digital Initiatives. Dr. Prinya Hom-anek, Special Advisor of Thailand Information Security Association (TISA)

Prinya Hom-Anek is a Thai cybersecurity, cyber resilience, data protection, data privacy, data governance and digital trust expert. He is currently the chairman of executive committee at ACIS Professional Center and Cybertron Company Limited. He is also a member of the National Cybersecurity Committee, the Personal Data Protection Commission, and the Committee on the Draft Personal Data Protection Act and the Cyber Security Act. He is also an independent director, member of the audit committee, risk management committee, and information technology committee of TTB Bank Public Company Limited. He was a consultant to the Office of the Civil Service Commission.

Yujiro Hayashi is currently responsible for cybersecurity at Future Corp., Inc. and has accumulated his theoretical studies as well as professional career through various consulting activities with financial institutions, manufacturing enterprises and public entities and several local governments in Japan. Dr. Daisuke Inoue, Director General of Cybersecurity Research Institute of National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT)

Daisuke Inoue received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical and computer engineering and Ph.D. degree in engineering from Yokohama National University in 1998, 2000 and 2003, respectively. He joined Communications Research Laboratory (CRL), in 2003. CRL was relaunched as National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in 2004, where he is currently the associate director general of Cybersecurity Research Institute, the director general of Cybersecurity Nexus (CYNEX) and the director of Cybersecurity Laboratory. Dr. Koji Nakao, Distinguished Researcher of National Institute of Information and Communications technology (NICT)

Koji Nakao received the B.E. degree of Mathematics from Waseda University, in Japan, in 1979. Since joining KDDI in 1979, Koji has been engaged in the research on communication protocol, and information security technology for telecommunications in KDDI laboratory. Sam Jacoba is the founding president of the National Association of Data Protection Officers of the Philippines (NADPOP), the Philippines’ first association of data privacy and data protection professionals. Thongchai Sangsiri is an expert in digital regulatory policies and international cooperation, currently working at Thailand’s Electronic Transactions Development Agency. With a background in computer security, digital forensics, and cybersecurity policy, he has been instrumental in managing the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre in Bangkok since 2018. Nobushige Takamizawa is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Tokyo. He served as Ambassador of Japan to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva from 2016 to 2020. Between 2013 and 2016, he worked for the Cabinet Secretariat as Assistant Chief Cabinet Secretary and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Secretariat, and Director-General of the NISC. Mr. Masato Terada, Chief Coordination Designer, Hitachi Incident Response Team (HIRT), Hitachi Ltd.

Dr. Masato Terada is the Technology and Coordination Designer for Hitachi Incident Response Team (HIRT), the leader in vulnerability handling and vulnerability database throughout their careers. He acted as a point of contact for HIRT in order to promote external CSIRT activities, including participation in FIRST, an international CSIRT organization in 2005. After he launched the Nippon CSIRT Association in 2007 with 6 Japanese CSIRT teams and has tackled improving the capability of CSIRT community. Ms. Yukako Uchida, Manager, Global Coordination Division, JPCERT/CC

Yukako Uchida is the Manager of Global Coordination Division at Japan Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (JPCERT/CC). She is responsible for international collaboration activities with overseas Cyber Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs), mainly in the Asia Pacific region. She has participated in several international CSIRT communities including Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT) for about 9 years. She joined the Board of Directors for Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) in 2021.

Dr. Masaki Umejima

Dr. Masaki Umejima is the expert in IEC Systems Committee Smart Energy(IEC SyC-SE)and the associate professor in Cyber Civilization Research Center, Keio University. As a member of Smart Meter Conference and the Chairman of Cyber Security in Energy Resource Aggregation Business Promotion Conference in Japanese Government, Dr. Umejima contributed to develop smart grid that 100 million power meters and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) speak a common language defined by ISO/IEC14543-4-3. IPv6 forum awarded the World Leader in 2015 to his leadership.

Mr. Akihiro Wada, Chair, Working Group on Cyber-Security Enhancement, Committee on Cyber Security, Keidanren

Mr. Wada assumed the chairpersonship of the Working Group on Cyber-Security Enhancement, Committee on Cyber Security, Keidanren in April 2022.

At All Nippon Airways, Mr. Wada is Senior Director responsible for information security & IT architecture strategy. Through his career, he retains large-scale project management skills as well as practical knowledge on the Information Security Management System and the Personal Information Protection Law.

Mr. Wada’s public activities include postings at various government agencies as well as the Cyber Risk Intelligence Centre – Cross Sectors Forum, where he is currently vice chair.

Mr. Wada holds a BSc (Science) from Kyushu University.

Dato’ Dr Amirudin Abdul Wahab, CEO of CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM)

DATO’ Ts. DR HAJI AMIRUDIN ABDUL WAHAB is the Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia, a cybersecurity specialist and technical agency that monitors e-sovereignty of the country.

He has more than 30 years of ICT working experience in telecom and IT sector in both public and private sectors. A PhD holder from University of Queensland, Australia, Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Duqubue, Iowa, USA,  Master’s in information technology, National University of Malaysia (UKM) and also a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.

Dr. Kenji Watanabe, Head of Disaster & Safety Management Div, Nagoya Institute of Tech

Nagoya Institute of Technology Professor, Graduate School of Social Science, Head of Disaster & Safety Management, Risk Management Center.
Kenji Watanabe is a professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, and also the head of Disaster & Safety Management of the Nagoya Institute of Technology in Nagoya, Japan. He has almost 20 years business and professional experiences at the Mizuho Bank, Pricewaterhouse Consulatnts and IBM Business Consulting Services in financial business and risk management fields. He is assigned as a chair of several governmental committees in Japan on risk management, business continuity management (BCM) and critical infrastructure protection (CIP) in the Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and other national/regional governments. He is the head of delegation of Japan for ISO/TC292 (Security & resilience).He has MBA and PhD in Information, Production and Systems.

Dr. Katsunari Yoshioka, Professor at the Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences / the Institute of Advanced Sciences, Yokohama National University

Since 2005, involved in research at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) Incident Response Center (NICTER). Started cyber security research at Yokohama National University in 2008. Currently a professor at Yokohama National University’s Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences, and a principal researcher at the Institute of Advanced Sciences. Received awards including Minister of Education Award (2009), Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award (2016), Information Security Culture Award (2017), and Information and Communication Achievement Award (2021). Actively participated in various research projects, including those related to cyber attack prediction and IoT malware neutralization. Holds a Doctor of Engineering degree.
