In this study, we conducted an impression survey of university students in a region where dialects are used using a robot and a person who speaks standard Japanese and a dialect (Mikawa dialect). Moreover, a nationwide impression survey using only a robot was also performed. In the dialect-using region, the robot speaking the dialect gave the impression of being cute but difficult to understand, whereas no difference in impression was observed in the nationwide survey. However, the analysis of the free text showed that the dialect and motion of the robot gave a positive impression. Based on the factors contributing to the positive impression of the dialect, we aim to construct a training program that motivates young and foreign personnel.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.20965\/jrm.2023.p0844","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2023,6,19]],"date-time":"2023-06-19T15:02:07Z","timestamp":1687186927000},"page":"844-858","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Investigation of the Development of Robots for Training Dialect Communication Listening in Nursing Care Situations: A Case Study of Mikawa Dialects"],"prefix":"10.20965","volume":"35","author":[{"ORCID":"http:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-6741-7378","authenticated-orcid":true,"given":"Tomoe","family":"Ozeki","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Aichi University of Technology, 50-2 Manori, Nishisako, Gamagori, Aichi 443-0047, Japan"}]},{"given":"Tetsuya","family":"Mouri","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Gifu University, 1-1 Yanagido, Gifu 501-1193, Japan"}]},{"given":"Hayate","family":"Fukui","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Aichi University of Technology, 50-2 Manori, Nishisako, Gamagori, Aichi 443-0047, Japan"}]}],"member":"8550","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2023,6,20]]},"reference":[{"key":"key-10.20965\/jrm.2023.p0844-1","unstructured":"F.
