Hello everyone,
Thank you, for the warm reception, I received at Thursday’s meeting.
I do look forward to taking my Technician’s Test. I do have the ARRL hand book and have a second copy , that I would like to donate to the club. I am looking, for a mentor, to help me with the test and also testing a old Hallicrafters SX-71. If anyone is interested, my cell number is 561-633-5253. Thank you… 73
Hello Ham Radio enthusiasts- I am new, got my tech license, and am learning every day.. Funny, I have read and understood far more of the manual, since I passed the test, and really enjoy the knowledge.
Anyway, as an “analog guy in a digital world”, I do need a bit of help re. setting up and installing my antenna. I live in a “HOA”, short for “Fascist Seniors”, and have regs. re. antennas. Have decided on an attic installation, bought the gear, just wondering if there is someone who knows about attics, and connections, and wiring, etc, can get around in a tight space, and also can get wiring dropped though walls to radio area. I live in PGA Nat’l, off of PGA and Tpke. If interested, i will pay for the work, and also have a very fine recording studio equipment, including Reel-Reel, (TEAC), cassettes, record changers, amps, finest quality, Pioneer, Bose, all top of line 80’s stuff, all serviced and working fine, maybe a trade? The R-R are fantastic for just leaving on and recording for hours and hours all on air stuff, etc.
please give me a call, 561-904-6251, if you know of someone who can do this work. Single family 1 story home.
Thanks!

I’ve been wanting to get my license and want to be pointed in the right direction is there any body I can reach out to
Your best bet is to go to http://www.arrl.net. There is a horde of information there on getting your license. Once you have studied and are ready to take an exam, they also list exam sessions for your area. You can also use HamTestOnline to check to make sure you will pass.
Hello: I just purchased a sdr and am lookiing for a group where I can learn more about this interesting hobby. I am wondering if this is the place for me? Thank you Paul Hart
