フクジュソウの近況など
寒さが緩み、雪もゆるんでぬかるみも多くなってきたちはや園地。
でも、まだ雪はたくさんで、中には中途半端に凍っている箇所も。
登山の際にはまだまだ冬山装備が必要です。ご注意ください。
さて、最近一番ご質問いただくことが・・
「フクジュソウはまだですか？？」
私たちも首を長くして待っていますが
寒波の影響もあり、大輪を咲かせてくれるのに躊躇している様子。
そこで、昨日入った速報写真を。
開花のタイミングについて、よくご質問もいただくのですが・・
フクジュソウは太陽の光が当たらないと開花しませんので
曇りの日やお天気の良くない日には見ることが出来ません。
もうすぐ来るかな？お天気のいいお昼過ぎ。
その時にぱああっと開いてくれるかもしれないですね。
いずれにせよ、楽しみに待ちたいと思います。
さて、フクジュソウの人気にひっそり隠れていますが
現在、ちはや園地で見られる見どきのお花はこちら。
カタクリの路で咲くマンサクです。
マンサク(黄色い花)
こちらはミュージアム横のアカバナマンサク
春の訪れを告げるマンサクがたくさん咲いてきました！
「まず咲く・・まずさく・・まんさく！！（ばんさーい）」という説もある名前の由来。
花言葉は・・「幸せの再来」だそう。
そう思って眺めると、なんだかうれしい知らせが聞こえてきそう(^▽^)/
私的には幸せのポンポン。
マンサクも忘れずに愛でてあげてくださいね。

Recent updates on the Adonis flowers or so
The cold is easing up, the snow is melting, and the area is getting muddy.
However, there is still a lot of snow, and some areas are only partially frozen.
When hiking, you still need winter mountain gear. Please be careful.
Now, the most common question we get these days is... "Are the Adonis (Fukujuso) flowers here yet?"
We are also waiting eagerly, but due to the cold wave, they seem to be hesitant to bloom.
Here are some quick photos from yesterday. (photo 1-3)
We are often asked about the timing of flowering, but... Adonis flowers do not bloom unless they are exposed to sunlight, so you cannot see them on cloudy or bad weather days.
I wonder if they will come soon? In the afternoon when the weather is nice.
They may open up at that time.
In any case, we will wait with anticipation.
Well, it's quietly hidden by the popularity of Adonis, but here are other flowers you can see at Chihaya-enchi Park right now.
These are Witch hazel (Mansaku) blooming on the Dogtooth Violets Path (Katakuri-no-michi). (photo 4-5)

(Photo 7-8) This is the red witch hazel next to our Museum.
Many witch hazels have bloomed, heralding the arrival of spring!
The origin of the name is said to be "First to bloom... First (mazu) to bloom (saku)... Mansaku!! (Hurray!)".
The flower's meaning is... "The return of happiness".
When you look at it with that in mind, it's as if you can hear some happy news (^▽^)/
For me, it's the pompom of happiness.
Don't forget to admire the witch hazel too.

雪の中の野鳥観察会
3連休の中日・2月23日（日）に恒例の野鳥観察会を実施しました。
当日は雪が積もる中、アクセスも心配されましたが
みなさん重装備で元気に集合してくださいました！
まるで耐寒登山のイベントのようです・・
そんな中、かわいい野鳥＋動物に出会う事が出来ました。
今回も、TKさん、KIさん、MKさんに写真データのご協力をいただきました。
いつもありがとうございます♪
とてもかわいい子満載なので、写真中心でご紹介いたします！
冬鳥の代表格のウソ。
今年はあまり出会える機会が少ないという印象でしたが、
運よく出会うことができました(^^)/
ヤマツツジのタネを一生懸命食べていました。
氷も一緒にクチバシについてるのがかわいい♡
ウソがプクプクしているのはいつものことですが・・
カケスさんも寒いせいかプーっと膨らんでいます。
最近、よくピクニック広場で見かけるのがカヤクグリ。

もちろん、いつものカラ類も元気いっぱいでした！

Bird watching in the snow
We held our regular bird watching event on Sunday, February 23rd, the middle day of the three-day weekend.
We were worried about access due to the snow that day, but everyone gathered in heavy gear and in good spirits! (photo 1)
(Photo 2) It was like a cold-resistant mountain climbing event...
In the midst of all this, we were able to encounter some cute birds and animals.
This time, TK, KI, and MK helped us with the photo data. Thank you as always ♪
There are so many cute birds, so we'll introduce them mainly through photos!
The representative winter bird in our area is Bullfinch (Uso). I had the impression that there were not many opportunities to encounter them this year, but
we were lucky to encounter them (^^)/ (photo 3-6)
They were eating mountain azalea seeds with all their might. It' looked very cute that there's ice on their beaks too ♡
It's normal for bullfinches to be plump in winter...
Maybe because of the cold, jays are also puffing up. (photo 7-8)
Recently, I've often seen Japanese accentors (Kayakuguri) in the picnic area. (photo 9)

Of course, the usual tit groups were full of energy too!
(Photo 12) Amiable Varied Tit like a Sales manager.
(Photo 13-14) Nuthatch (Gojukara): They can walk on a tree with their head upside down.
(Photo 15) It' so amiable, a Pigmy Tit (Kogara).
(Photo 16) The Coal Tit has bedheaded again today.
But, anyway...
When she comes out, everyone is instantly captivated!

It was a fun bird watching event (plus Elizabeth watching).

2/24 道路の状況とちはや園地の雪の様子
⚠️金剛山麓・府道705号線凍ってます⚠️
2/24の金剛山麓の道路状況です。
府道705号線はほぼ全域に渡り凍結しています。
耐寒仕様のスタッドレス四駆でも滑りかけた箇所がありました。
ちは星前は積雪35センチです。
園地内を歩いてみました。
かなり深い雪です。
登山の際にはじゅうぶんな体力と装備でお越しください。
皆さまに安全に雪山を楽しんでいただけること・・
ちはや園地スタッフ全員の願いです。

There were some places where even cold-resistant 4WD with studless almost slipped.

冬用タイヤやチェーンなど雪山走行の装備が必要です。
雪を見たい！というお気持ちはとてもよく分かりますが
安易な気持ちでじゅうぶんな装備のないお車での走行は大変危険です。
本日は野鳥観察会も予定されておりますが、
くれぐれもご無理のない計画でお越しください。
スタッフ一同、安全に皆様にお目にかかれる事を
楽しみにしております。

2/23の野鳥観察会は、予定通りおこないます。
ただし、金剛山麓の府道は凍結予想される箇所もございます。雪道の装備での走行をお願いいたします。
また、登山道はチェーンスパイクやアイゼンが必要です。
くれぐれもご無理のないご参加をお願いいたします。

2/22朝の金剛山道路状況です
本日も冬用タイヤ・雪山登山の装備をお忘れなく
安全な登山をお願いいたします。
この時期救急搬送事例が多発しております。
他人事と思わず、安易な気持ちで登山に臨まれないよう
くれぐれも安全第一にお願いいたします。
