LogoHotel California exists to propagate environmentally conscious technology, art, and living. We prototype systems, open source the designs, and educate people on how to build and deploy similar systems themselves.
We demonstrate our creations at public events throughout the year along with collaborating artists who perform music, massage therapy, body art, comedy, and more.
Our biggest projects to date are:
1) A 75 ft long by 25 ft wide mobile arts center. It is assembled without any screws or nails by close fitting joints and tension straps.
2) A 10,000 watt solar power grid which runs a custom music amplifier, speakers and lights––powerful light and sound that is energy-independent.
