The 59th World Statistics Congress (WSC) was held in Hong Kong during 25-30 August 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Scientific Programme Coordinating Committee was chaired by Xuming He of the University of Michigan. The programme included a keynote presentation from the ISI President's Invited Speaker, Kaushik Basu, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank. The conference included 105 Invited Paper Sessions, 89 Special Topic Sessions, 48 Contributed Paper Sessions (including 11 Sessions of poster-plus mode and 5 Sessions of poster mode) for some 1200 presentations. All abstracts and formal papers, where provided by the authors, are delivered from this site.
